I run a similar electronic music wiki called the EDM Wiki, and was interested in possibly discussing a partnership with our wikis! Seeing how we cover the same topics, perhaps we can help each other with our wikis! Most of the pages on your wiki are also on mine, if you were interested in discussing this further you may take a look through my wiki!
You can add a link to this wiki by creating a profile and add a link. However, I post this message because one of the most useful information about hardstyle is how hardstyle is made and this site is the only site I know that shows you the project source of a track. Morever, it works like a wiki.
Alright then! I'm at the moment working on templates, pages in the MediaWiki: namespace and artist pages also (making Chain Reaction). Anything, even if just to say hi or say you made a page, leave me a message! g'night.
Oh yeah, I remember now ehre I posted that. My fav. quote from Ryder is the famous "Keep up mothafucka" that's used in one of the early missions and wasn't on the video, people recognized it and that's why it's a top comment. :)
Hello there. I recommend you to start your userpage as a starter, but that's not very important. :) I currently need help with articles for hardstyle artists/acts, labels, albums, radios, etc.; basically: wiki content. If you are experienced with templates, I would like to ask you to take a look on Template:Infobox musical artist, I took it and edited it from Wikipedia, and created additional templates required to that one (even sub-pages /color and /doc), but when on a page it simply didn't work... if you could fix it, I'd be so happy - if you can't, no worries, there's always the regular infobox template that works. :)
Welcome to the wiki and I'm hoping to hear more from you!
Okay. I'm not as familiar with hardstyle as I am with dubstep, even though I only found out about dubstep less than a year ago. I'm a nerd for 13 years old, but I doubt that's enough for templates. I'll take a look at that. I'm usually loyal to music wikis, but I hope you understand if I have too much schoolwork I won't be around. When you're on Live Chat, tell me, I'll stop by. Should I make a career page for myself?
I'm not really a dubstep DJ. I do anything that seems right to me at the time. Considering I'm in the school band, jazz band, steel pans ensemble, I play the yangqin which is a Chinese instrument, and I try to mix dubstep, electro house, glitch hop, VOCALOID, and I like K-pop and OSTs... I don't even know what I am.
I saw you're Portuguese according to your profile. Just thought I'd mention I technically have a Portuguese ID because my grandmother is from Macau, which was controlled by Portugal for a time and she got the citizenship and it came down to me. (I sat in a leather car for hours in still traffic going to the embassy when it was 104 degrees Fahrenheit outside, probably 113 in the car and the air conditioning was broken. I am NOT doing that again.) Unfortunately, I don't know Portuguese though.
Still, you can use your own userpage as a career page. :)
And yes, I am. To be more specific, from the islands of Azores (don't know if you ever heard about them). Yes, you're right, Macau was controlled by Portugal at a time, same for other countries such as Brazil, Timor, Angola and Mozambique. Well, in case you're curious about any word or sentence in Portuguese, just ask, and never use Google Translate, it translates horribly and mostly in Brazilian Portuguese... -_-'
Alright, I think I did that. I need to listen to more hardstyle to differentiate the genre first. I just started to spend more time mixing, and I think my main genres rotate around things with drum, bass, and synth.
Oh, yeah. Google. Translate. Is. Horrible. Grammar is off. Quite a lot of Latin vocabulary is off. Translations are inconsistent. I speak Chinese but when I translated 我的屁股要打針 it came out as something my internet watch blocked as profanity. ಠ_ಠ
You know what, I think I'll draw something for the wiki. Gives me something to do in class instead of listening to the teacher explain proofs to my geometry class for the sixth time.
And I can give you suggestions for hardstyle, it is VERY diversificate, unlike pouplar thoughts, you just need to try a bit from everything. There's early hardstyle, rawstyle, euphoric hardstyle, nustyle and fusion genres like dubstyle (I personally dislike, but since I see your passion for dubstep you will certainly like) and tekstyle. :)
